Best hairbrush - Green Heads brush guide
Did you know that much of the quality of your hair is determined by your hairbrush and your brushing technique? The right brush for the right hair type can make your hair stronger, shinier and longer!

Today, you don't just have a hairbrush, you have a "hairbrush wardrobe". Different brushes are suitable for different occasions, styling and hair. However, a good hairbrush that suits your hair is always a good investment. We recommend that you have brushes and/or combs in your everyday life that cover these needs: investigation, hair care in the shower, stimulating the hair follicles in the scalp and for shaping the hair.
So you should have brushes within these three categories:
Investigation – Whose task is to gently untangle tangles without damaging the hair.
Shaping – For example, round brushes and curling brushes, the ones you use when styling and shaping your hair.
Stimulating – Brushes that are designed to access the scalp to increase blood supply to the hair follicles.
Some brushes fulfill functions in more categories and below we have listed the ones we think are most important to have in your bathroom cabinet.
1. Investigation brush
2. Wooden bristle brush
3. Round brush
4. Detangling brush
5. Wide-toothed comb
1. Investigation brush
An investigation brush should have flexible bristles that can easily slide through the tangles and tangles of hair. without tearing or breaking hair. Green Head's investigation brush has a combination of boar bristles and nylon that stimulates the scalp by increasing blood flow to the roots while helping to spread the scalp's natural oils to the lengths, which in turn gives the hair both strength and an incredibly beautiful shine and creates extra volume. It is suitable for all hair, but especially fine hair that tangles easily. It can also be used on both dry and damp hair and for light blow-drying. You can find ours here.
2. Wooden bristle brush
A wooden bristle brush is extra gentle on both hair and scalp. With rounded wooden spikes, it stimulates and massages the scalp, increasing blood circulation, which in turn strengthens both hair and hair growth. It can also be used on both dry and damp hair, as well as for light blow-drying. The brush also absorbs excess sebum and other impurities in the hair, reducing the need for hair washing. A wooden spike brush is suitable for all hair types, but especially for normal to thick hair that needs a firm spike. Green Head's wooden spike brush can also be used on both dry and damp hair, as well as for light blow-drying. You can find ours here.
3. Round brush
A round brush is a shaping brush. The round brush we sell in our webshop has copper in the roller, which spreads the heat evenly and gives the hair a lasting shape and shortens the styling time. T Thanks to the extra large diamond-shaped air openings, air can circulate properly, which also gives extra volume to the hair. There are several sizes of round brushes and we have one that is Ø 43 mm and is perfect for styling shoulder-length to long hair as well as one that is Ø 33 which is suitable for shorter hair to page. Remember to add heat protection before this type of blow-drying. You can find ours here.
4. Detangling brush
The tufting brush is also a shaping brush that is used to create volume and shape. The one we sell in our webshop has real boar bristles and is perfect for creating details, sectioning and tufting. It is also specially designed to give the hair maximum volume and as even and durable a tufting base as possible. The tapered shaft makes it easy to separate passes and the brush helps you easily build volume, create attachments for sets and gives a smooth finish. You can find ours here.
5. Wide-toothed comb
A wide-toothed wooden comb gently detangles tangled hair and is perfect when you want to detangle dry hair without, for example, damaging curls. It can also can be used in the shower when you want to detangle your hair by combing through your hair with conditioner or hair mask as the wide teeth mean that you don't pull "out" but distribute the product in your hair. Green Head's wooden comb with its rounded teeth is also gentle while massaging the scalp, which increases blood circulation, which in turn strengthens both hair and hair growth. You can find ours here.
Tips for caring for your combs and brushes
To ensure you can enjoy your brushes and combs for a long time, we recommend that you clean them regularly. Start by cleaning loose hair. Then dip the bristles/brushes in lukewarm water with a drop of shampoo, stir them a little but try not to let the "brush body" get too wet. Rinse in lukewarm water and place (brushes with the bristles down) on a towel to dry at normal room temperature.

Summary
To be able to take care of your hair in everyday life, you need about 3 hairbrushes/combs, one for detangling, one for stimulating the scalp and one for taking care of hair in the shower. If you style your hair a lot, it is good to have one that fulfills that function as well. The most important thing is to find a brush that suits your hair, whether it is thick or thin, straight, curly or perhaps tangled. That it is then aesthetically pleasing and comes from a good choice of materials is of course also important, but remember that a good brush is a long-term investment in your hair and you deserve it.
