Now we are improving Oil in Treatment with rosemary
Rosemary in hair care
At Green Heads, we love to improve our products. We have been considering rosemary as an ingredient in hair care for a long time, not least because we are experiencing a greater demand from our customers for products with the potential to strengthen hair growth. With this in mind, we decided to take one of our most popular products to the next level. And now we can finally proudly present it: generation 2.0 of our hair oil Oil In Treatment – now with double the ingredients of rosemary! By adding both rosemary oil and rosemary leaf extract to the already caring formula, the oil becomes even more multifunctional and results-oriented for those who want stronger, shinier and healthier hair.

Before we get into hair oiling and the function of the product, let's talk about rosemary in hair care:
Rosemary is an herb that has been used for hundreds of years to strengthen both scalp health and hair quality. Some of the effects that long-term use of rosemary can achieve are:
-
Stimulates hair growth
-
Prevents hair loss
-
Strengthens hair
-
Balances sebum production
-
Prevents irritation and itching
-
Improves shine and vitality
Stimulates hair growth
Rosemary is known for its ability to improve blood circulation to the scalp. The increased blood supply provides hair follicles with more nutrients and oxygen, creating optimal conditions for hair growth.
Prevents hair loss
Thanks to rosemary's anti-inflammatory properties, it can help reduce inflammation in the scalp – a common cause of hair loss.
Strengthens hair
Rosemary extract helps strengthen hair from root to tip, giving you more resilient hair that is less prone to breakage. This is especially beneficial for those with brittle or damaged hair.
Balances sebum production
For those with oily scalps, rosemary offers additional benefits through its ability to regulate sebum production. It helps normalize the scalp's natural oil balance without drying it out, resulting in a healthier scalp.
Prevents irritation
Rosemary's antimicrobial and antifungal properties make it effective against scalp irritation, dandruff, and itching. It soothes an irritated scalp while fighting the microorganisms that can cause an itchy scalp.
Improves shine and vitality
When the scalp is healthy and the hair is strengthened, the result is naturally shiny and vital hair.
How rosemary can affect various hair problems
For thinning hair: Rosemary's circulation-boosting and DHT-inhibiting properties can increase hair density with regular use.
For oily scalps: The astringent and balancing properties help normalize overactive sebaceous glands without drying out the scalp. This creates a self-regulating effect that keeps hair fresher for longer.
For dry, irritated scalp: Anti-inflammatory compounds soothe irritation while promoting cell renewal, resulting in restored moisture balance and reduced flaking.
For dull, lifeless hair: The improved microcirculation and nutrient supply gives hair a natural shine and vitality that comes from within, not from superficial coatings that some conventional hair care products often rely on.

Hair Oiling – the beauty trend that boosts hair before washing
Have you heard of Hair Oiling, also known as pre-wash? It's a beauty trend that has quickly become a favorite among hair enthusiasts and influencers worldwide. By nourishing your hair with nourishing oils even before shampooing, your hair gets deep hydration, increased shine and a silky smooth result - just like after a luxurious salon treatment. Perfect for those who want to give their hair extra love, luster and more vitality.
How to do a Hair Oiling with our new Oil in Treatment:
To get the most out of our enhanced Oil In Treatment, we recommend a deep conditioning treatment. Here's a step-by-step guide:
Preparations:
Brush through your hair thoroughly to remove tangles.
Application:
Start by dividing your hair into four sections with two legs: one from forehead to neck and one from ear to ear. Then massage the oil into the legs and out over the entire scalp with your fingertips in circular motions. This further stimulates blood circulation and helps the rosemary to work as effectively as possible. Then work through the lengths. Be extra generous with the ends, which are often the most damaged. Gently brush through the hair with a combing brush to evenly distribute the product. Wrap a plastic bag around your hair and finish by putting a hair towel turban around for extra warmth. The recommended amount of oil for a treatment is about 3–10 pumps, depending on the length and thickness of your hair.
Duration of action:
For best results – choose one of these options:
Express treatment – leave on for 20 minutes under a hair towel.
Deep-acting treatment – leave on for 2–3 hours or overnight for maximum nutrient absorption.
Wash out:
Apply shampoo, massage and gradually add water until the shampoo lathers. Repeat if necessary. Finish with conditioner, mainly on the lengths and ends, to seal in the nourishment from the treatment. Style as desired.
How often:
We recommend that you do the oil treatment 1–4 times a month based on your hair's needs.

Summer tips :
Sun, salt water and summer winds are wonderful – but they can also wear down your hair. Because Oil in Treatment contains oils, extracts and antioxidants, it helps to naturally protect your hair from sun exposure. With ingredients such as rosemary, broccoli seed oil and argan oil, it forms a film that protects your hair from the drying effects of the sun, strengthens it and helps to preserve the softness and colour of your hair. That's why it's perfect to do a Hair oiling during a day at the beach as a leave-in treatment, for strong, soft and moisturised summer hair.
Bonus tip:
If you have really dry and thick hair, you can also use Oil In Treatment as a styling product and squeeze the oil into the lengths. If you have thin or fine hair, adding oil directly to your hair as a styling product can make it feel weighed down and greasy. A good solution might be to use a few drops of rosemary oil in your conditioner. This allows you to benefit from some of the benefits that rosemary oil has for hair growth, without making your hair look greasy or oily.
