How to use Green Head styling products

If you want a style that lasts, it's important to use the right products for the right hairstyle. Different products meet different needs and just as we may want to vary our styling from straight to curly or blow-dry to natural air-dried, styling products need to be alternated and used in different ways. We don't recommend washing your hair every day and therefore products are also needed to restyle your hair the next day.

We divide the different styling needs:

Detangling – Makes hair easier to brush out in a gentle way without damaging the hair.

Heat protection – Protects hair when using heat tools and blow dryers.

Texture – Provides texture and hold for a lasting shape.

Volume – Something that preserves volume and gives more volume.

Hairspray – Something that holds the hair in place.

Definition – Defines curls and falls so they hold their shape.

Combats frizz – Tames frizz and makes hair more manageable.

Shine - Gives a glossy shine and tames frizz

Some styling products can fulfill several of these requirements in one product. Below we will go over the properties of Green Head's styling products and how you can use them in the best way.

5. Sea Salt Mist - texture, hold, volume

6. Leave-in Balm - heat protection, straightening, anti-frizz

Blow Out Gel

A styling product that can be compared to a mousse in gel form that helps you build proper volume in your hair! It provides soft hold, reduces frizz and makes hair manageable plus  has a heat protection up to 230 degrees. Shake the bottle well and distribute 2-3 pumps into towel-dried hair. Gives incredible volume and hold when blow-drying, mix with Leave-in Balm for a softer feel or Hair Oil for extra shine. The heat-protective effect also remains after blow-drying for the use of heat tools such as curling and straightening irons. Blow out gel can also be used on damp hair and define natural curls that are first twisted and then self-dried or blown with a diffuser.

Curl Cream

A nourishing styling cream for beautiful curls! Curl cream defines, moisturizes and tames frizz. Distribute the desired amount evenly throughout the lengths. Divide the hair into sections and gently twist one curl at a time around your finger. Let the hair air-dry or use a diffuser that you hover over the curls on low speed for reduced frizz and more volume. Mix with Leave in balm for more hydration. You can use again the next day to reactivate your curls.

Texture Cream

A nourishing styling cream for definition that contains bentonite clay for extra hold. Gives a semi-matte finish and combats frizz. On dry hair, it is perfect to blow-dry into the roots for extra volume and hold, then finish by scrunching into the dry lengths for texture. For extra hold, you can combine the styling with Sea salt Mist.

Sea Salt Mist

A unique salt water spray that helps you build volume, create texture and give your hair a light hold. It can be used on damp hair that is allowed to dry for a beachy feel, but also for heatless curls. Then you spray Sea Salt Mist lightly over the lengths and shape as usual, when you release the hair you have extra support and fullness. If you do a proper blow out and want maximum volume, first apply Blow Out Gel throughout the hair and then Sea Salt Mist at the roots as a root lift, spray Sea Salt Mist at the roots before blow-drying. You can also spray at the roots of dry hair the next day and blow-dry for a dry shampoo effect, the volume rises a little again and the spray's dry texture hides what looks greasy. Hair Oil

A feather-light oil and natural silicone substitute! Gives a silky feel, increases shine, tames frizz and moisturizes. Apply a few drops to dry hair for shine or damp hair before blow-drying for a really nice silky feel. You can also apply to dry ends and lengths to reduce static electricity. The hair oil is also great to mix with your other hair products for extra shine.

Leave-in Balm

Leave-in Balm is actually a caring product, it has a detangling and moisturizing effect, which gives stronger hair. But it also works as a primer that smooths the hair, gives fantastic shine and prepares it for further styling. Distribute a few pumps evenly into freshly washed and towel-dried hair. Gently brush out your hair and continue your styling routine. You can also squeeze it into dry hair for extra hydration or reactivation of curls. It can also be mixed with Curl Cream, Texture Cream and Blow Out Gel. Thanks primarily to the broccoli seed oil, it also has natural and light heat protection and can be blow-dried like a milk. To get a hairstyle that lasts all day, you need styling products that meet your different needs. First, find out what you want based on your hair type: thickness, texture, curly or straight. If you are going to use a blow dryer and heat tools, your products should contain heat protection.
